The Answering Machine have announced via their MySpace blog that they will be releasing a new single – ‘Oklahoma’ backed with ‘The Hold Up’ – on October 16th via High Voltage Records. The record will be available on limited edition vinyl and you’ll be able to pick it up at Piccadilly Records/Rough Trade or buy it as a download
The Longcut played a secret show at the Manchester Roadhouse on Friday (18th Aug), under the alias ‘Cliff Rescue and The Helicopters’. The Club Save Yourself night was the first one in their new home at the Roadhouse. A few quick photos are below… I’ll upload a few more later:
The Pipettes are currently in the top 10 buzz bands on elbo.ws, and with tunes, moves and looks like these, it’s not hard to see why! The Pipettes enthralled the crowd at Manchester Dpercussion Festival the other week (5th Aug) – check out the photos below:
